My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I like this series of books. They feel good and don't stress me out. I want to relax when I read.
I do think Abby was flighty and immature in this book but she had been shot and was feeling a bit churlish. She and Dutch were both acting more adult at the end of the book and I am glad the cat found a home to be happy in and Abby was able to make a home with Dutch. Was very confused by the addition of a puppy with all the upheaval in their lives. I thought that was not a smart thing to throw in after giving the cat to mom.
The reason Abby is so upset at the beginning of the book is because she feels she can not trust her gift. She feels her crew did not warn her but they did. She is always ignoring them when she should stop and tilt her head a little so she can listen. That would cause her to have much less drama in her life and the book would be absolutely boring. Lol
She gets her confidence and her life back and does the right thing.
Love the addition of her friend the PI. She will be a great addition to the books.
